The terms and conditions shall be deemed to constitute a legally binding contract between Krishna SCS LLP ( KSCS) and the Customer.
Payment terms, cancellation and refund:
Payment 100% in advance by Bank Transfer, cash or online payment.
Cancellations – Subject to cancellation terms as advised at the time of booking in the confirmation advice / Proforma invoice, the following cancellation charges will be levied :
50% if cancelled 60 days prior to sailing
75% if cancelled 15 days prior to sailing
100% if cancelled 14 days or less to sailing
Refunds :Any refund will be made by bank transfer.
Cruising delays and returns
At times, there are circumstances, which are beyond our control like weather related phenomena of fog, cyclone, rainfall, unexpected tide conditions, river currents etc. This unexpected phenomenon may cause inconvenience to you due to delays, rescheduling and cancellations.
We appreciate your patience and request for your kind cooperation in these times. We will endeavor to give you proactive information through text messages or emails.
In case emergency or any technical /operational issues or circumstance that is beyond any control of the company or requisition by any state or central government agencies, departments, Ministry, KSCS will endeavour to provide a alternative if available under the control of the company or will make full refund of the payments received. without any compensation to the ¨Customer¨.
Boarding instructions
Permissions of admission for cruising will be strictly as per the Government guidelines.
Guests aged over 65 years, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years may be restricted from boarding and sailing.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Due to river traffic police restriction or due to any other unavoidable reasons jetty for embarkation and disembarkation may be changed at a short notice.
The vessel will be placed at the jetty half an hour before the time for embarkation & again half an hour grace time will be provided beyond the schedule time for disembarkation. If more than half an hour taken for disembarkation, the period for over stay qualify for extra hours and additional charges may be levied.
Additional Guests more than contracted number will be permitted subject to the capacity of the cruisers and at additional charges and as per the booking terms.
Onboard the cruise, master of the cruiser is officer in command and all guests are requested to follow his instruction at all times. No guests will be permitted to access restricted areas like Wheel house, crew accommodation, engine room, Galley etc with prior permission of the master or the manager on board and will accompanied by a crew at all time if permitted.
Do not insist upon speeding up or stopping of the vessel other than the nominated place / places.
Consumption of liquor is strictly designated without any permit / licence from appropriate authorities. Children below the age of 18yars will not be served alcohol.
The Customer and the guests onboard will undertake to maintain the cleanliness of the vessel, adhere all safety and security of sailing. Any injury or damage due to any unlawful or indecent activity or damage any part of the vessel or its furniture, linen, crockery and cutlery etc will be treated as act of violence and .the Company may, levy of damages, compensation, claims etc against the Customer.
The Customer will help KSCS in maintaining the cleanliness of the river from the point of view of their safety by not discarding any waste materials into it and in maintaining the vessel as a NO PLASTIC ZONE. Any waste materials to be discarded will be put in the designated baskets kept for the purpose.
The Customer will exercise full and very careful control of children, particularly from the point of view of their security, so that they are not left unaccompanied or lean over the railings. Their safety on board is entirely the responsibility of the Customer or their guardians or parents.
This is subject to Government regulations and restrictions. The vessel may be withdrawn at any time due to Govt. requirement or emergencies beyond the control of the ¨Company¨ with or without prior notice. In that case full advance money will be refunded by the ¨Company¨ without any compensation to the ¨User¨.
12. This is subject to Jurisdiction of Alipore Court, Kolkata.
